Configuration of services to enable reconnection when the database role switches

Hello,

I have a 19.11 RAC primary and RAC standby in a data guard configuration.

Is it possible to create services on each cluster and when the roles switch, the application is able to reconnect without any configuration needed within the application itself?

Would it be a combination of services and also a suitable entry within a tnsnames.ora?
