Stop double coverage when employee and spouse are both employees

Has anyone setup the voluntary life insurance and voluntary spousal life insurance to look and see if their spouse is also an employee of the organization and prohibit them from enrolling in spousal life insurance if the spouse is also enrolled in voluntary life insurance?
