New Job Code Setup - PeopleSoft

We are setting up a new Job Code as a certain Job function, Job Family with certain work hours and compensation.

As this is totally a new Job Code, what are the related configuration that we need to do with respect to other modules including T&L, Payroll, Benefits etc

For T&L, there are various workgroups , rule programs and value list. How do we tie up to an value list. In general, what are the things that we need to consider before we add a new job code
