JDE install in two Machine

Hello,
We have two as400 machine with same OS release.
One of the As400 machine in which AR-9.2 and TR-9.2.4.1 is installed is running.
Another machine is fresh with no jde is installed so backing up entire data from installed JDE machine will work or we have to install the jde in fresh machine and then to copy the data. Please suggest because we want to create such if any reasons one goes down another will take its place and data of both the machine will sink each other.
