Urgent - How to identify OFF SHIFT for an employee in OTL back end ?

I am facing issues in terms of how to identify if a particular day for an employee is regular working day or a rest day ? Need to identify the day before i can trigger a rest day premium for some of the employees. Please note that the rest day can change multifolds.
