How to make an attachment as mandatory in Unifier for Non-Document type Business Process?

We have a scenario in either a simple or line item type business process, the user should mandatory upload the supporting documents in the unifier form using the Attachment option.

Currently we have a field called Attachment Added (Yes/No) and we have a validation in the system it pulls the user to choose always "Yes" to just confirm the user uploaded a document.

Please let me know if we have any other work-around for this.
