Announcements section expansion in RPAS v16

Can the the announcements section in RPAS v16 be expanded? The default settings restricts the announcements pane to about 1/4th the home page and if the announcements exceed that, then it needs to be scrolled through.
Is there a way to make announcements pane expand to full page?
