Pros and cons of moving some jobs to a single threaded queue

Hi Comm

I am working with someone who is a financial manager of a mid sized business and currently has jobs which update records running in a multi threaded queue. I know that in E1 certain jobs must be run single threaded eg R09801, R3482 and jobs which call another UBE within the program. Does anyone know if there are any kg articles or document IDs that deal with the pros and cons of using the queues appropriately as I am looking for something documented to present to them
