Can anyone tell me if I can copy over $ORACLE_HOME/bin/oracle binary from identically installed host

I have used chopt disable partitioning command to disable that feature as it is not used and doing this changed the checksum of $ORACLE_HOME/bin/oracle.  I would like to restore that checksum to match all the other ORACLE_HOMES.  

1) can I copy over $ORACLE_HOME/bin/oracle from an identically installed host to this host where the checksum changed due to using chopt disable partitioning command?
2) If not #1 or not recommended #1,  Will chopt enable partitioning restore the checksum to exactly the same value prior to using chopt disable partitioning?
