Not able to update City and Postal details on existed Customer in AR

Hi Team

Version 12.2.6

Getting below  error while updating the City and Postal details on existing customer.

"Update of this column is not allowed because Printed, Posted, or Applied Transaction(s) exists for one of the sites for this address. Please requery the address to undo the changes and then create a new address


As per user confirmation , they could able to update the all details include City and Postal address on existed customer in 2019 then those details were reflected on AR invoice under Bill to.

Why not able to updates those details now
