Oracle 9.2 On Windows Server 2003 : ORA-3113 and ORA-1041

Hi ,

Our users encounter the following error after a period of inactivity on the application side.

ORA-3113
03113, 00000, "end-of-file on communication channel"
// * Cause:
// * Action:

After restarting the database, another error is encountered by our users:

ORA-1041
01041, 00000, "internal error. Hostdef extension doesn't exist"
// * Cause: Pointer to hstdef extension in hstdef is null.
// * Action: Report as a bug
