Can we expose PCM_OP_SERACH opcode as a REST API

Need to fetch the POID from BRM for forming the json for request from the middleware system. Can we use PCM_OP_SERACH opcode as a REST API or is there any other options for achieving the same. Using Oracle BRM 12.0 version.
