SAIP - section association clarification

We have SAIP setup and sending course information into our LMS (Canvas). We are finding that some courses are showing up in our LMS as being cross listed and they shouldn't be because they are not cross listed in Campus Solutions.  I had an SR open about this problem a couple of years ago, but we're still dealing with having to manually adjust things either in Campus Solutions or in our LMS.  Some good information was provided, but I’m still unclear why this is happening.  Ultimately, I'm trying to figure out what is causing certain courses to appear in the Section Association XML file generated by the Bulk
