How do I change the object ID of a field in a UBE ?

we have a third party software that overlays on a standard UBE. R43500.  this is mainly for formatting the PO print UBE.
we have added a new field and they are requesting the object ID on this field to be changed. how do I change the object ID in a UBE. I was able to go thru a former post and determine the section and object ID,   thanks
