World A9.4 Work Orders When is the Component Cost applied to the Parts List?

We are in the process of Year-End Physical Inventory and Cost Roll. If a pending Work Order is at a Status 40 with a Parts List and Routing attached, will changing the cost adversely affect the Work Order Completion when the plant starts completing finished goods after the year end? We are thinking about removing the parts list and re-attaching it after the Cost Roll is completed. However that will be a tedious process task that could have problems involved. But if there is no need to remove the parts list then a lot of extra work can be avoided.
