Does World A9.4 on IBM i 7.4 OS still require using the Classic Query Engine?

We upgraded JDE to A9.4 in anticipation of our lease renewal next year and we are anticipating the machine coming in at V7R4. The question is will we still be restricted to using the Classic Query Engine (CQE) or will A9.4 use the SQL Query Engine (SQE). See Doc ID 2259901.1 that we had to apply when we brought in V7R2 running A9.2.
