upgrade from 6.3.9 to 7.X

Hello all, I have a quick question. I have a lab that I run basic simulations in and I am using two 3820s. They have old code and I want to upgrade it to the last release of 7.x that the 3820 supports. With this procedure it is different upgrading the bootloader and I cant find good documentation that shows how this is done. Can someone please tell me how this is done? I greatly appreciate the help!
