Solaris 8 - how to fix command FORMAT error unable to open /dev/tty

Hi,

Good day.

Is there anyone here can resolve this issue of Format Command error is unable to open /dev/tty?

Machine: V880
OS: Solaris 8

We want to slice the Disk to make a new Mirror but the command format has been a error. unable to open /dev/tty.

I hope someone help me.
