Migratng from R12.1.3 to 12.2.10 - WebADI Template Migration

Hi,

We are in the process of migrating from R12.1.3. to R12.2.10.
We have a business community of 350+ users, who have build their own Web ADI templates using standard excel functionality of Pivots and Macros. The total unique templates may run around to 2000 templates.
I understand that the standard guideline would be to recreate the templates.
But wanted to see what strategy did the other clients followed to convert 12.1.3 templates to 12.2.10.
