Absence Management Delegation Issue

We had the following delegation issue: If the proxy is a direct report of the delegator and that proxy submits his own absence via self-service, the event was auto-approved. It was reported to Oracle and we were told to apply BUG 32498139. This BUG resolves the issue only partly. The request is no longer auto-approved, but sits in the proxy’s pending approvals, still allowing him to self-approve. We do not want that. The event should be routed to whomever would approve the delegator’s own self-service request, or perhaps the administrator. We don’t allow for auto or self-approval. Is Oracle looking into resolving this?
