Is there a way to prevent B line items being ordered via OI?

We are on E1 9.2.5.3.  I have a user who consistently processes B line items with an OI.  She will enter the item - if the line defaults to B she updates it to an S and processes the OI.  Is there a way to throw a hard error on an OI if the line type is altered?
