Prevent certain object codes from being used

edited Oct 8, 2021 4:39PM in Distribution - JDE1 (MOSC) 2 commentsAnswered ✓

There are some objects codes that should never be used in creating purchase order (PO), entering coding for Scannman to pay invoices; for example, 78000 – 79999 ranges of object codes can be used for reserves transactions only.

The question is how can we setup something in JDE to prevent some one accidently use these object codes. For instance, can we use transaction type like V or PV, as one of methods to prevent this?  As well as, for preventing purchase order creators and coding persons to use these codes.

Howdy, Stranger!
