long running data load procedure

info: 2 node RAC on Oracle Linux 7

Today the data load procedure that takes 7 to 10 minutes, took 4+ hours.
when i review the AWRs. the plan statistics for bad day is much higher, i.e. CPU time, Buffer Gets, Disk Reads, user i/o wait, etc. 

our SAN admin reviewed the array and found no issue. I reviewed SAR and I don't see high CPU usage or I/O wait, etc. 

I also checked to see if there were any stale indexes on any tables and found none. 

How would I figure out what caused this issue this morning?
