Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Security Policy is not working for the table in EBS R12.2.10

Dear Experts,

As per the below note we have created security policy on Hash view (PON.PON_BID_ITEM_PRICES#)

As per the note Doc ID 1577661.1

" Section 2.2.7: Virtual Private Database (VPD) Policy

For information on Oracle Virtual Private Database, see: Oracle Database Security Guide.

Definition Standards

A VPD Policy must be on the editioning view or table synonym, not the table."

Policy is applied on Hash view and table synonym but not on the Table (PON.PON_BID_ITEM_PRICES). It is not working on the table.

user is able to see the data when query through the table PON.PON_BID_ITEM_PRICES
