Using the E1 Foundation Calendars for creating Vacation Calendars

Where could I find some model where a JDE E1 client would have used the E1 Foundation Calendars to help managing vacation schedules i.e. working with calendars created either by division, department which supervisors/managers would use the R074501 report for instance identifying vacation balances and, using the calendars, would assign employee's vacation into the calendar for creating a view of what the department would look like with all employees vacation shown on the calendar? I have read the Address Book Implementation Guide, Calendar Section, but that does not really help much. Is there a model somewhere that we could relate
