Install Oracle Database 12.1 between in RHEL 6 and RHEL 7?

Hi,

I want to ask if anyone who know about this, is there any different if I want to install Oracle Database 12.1 between in RHEL 6 and RHEL 7?
Because before I'll install oracle database, I thought it can be good if I can upgrade my existing OS rhel 6.9 to rhel 7.
