Disabling/Uninstalling Oracle R Enterprise
Hi Team,
Today I was looking to install Oracle JVM on a Test Database to configure a the environment for consuming Web Services directly from within the Database.
Whilst going through the DBCA GUI, I accidentally "configured" Oracle R Enterprise. While Oracle R Enterprise is supposedly free, it also enables something called "Data Mining", which apparently comes with a Licensing Cost.
When I went to go through the DBCA utility to disable it, the option to uncheck "configure" was greyed out.
Questions:
1) Can anyone tell me if Oracle R Enterprise(Advanced Analytics)/Data Mining does require License?
2) How can I safely uninstall it from my Test Database?
