MAC OS: Reinstall Jdeveloper 12.2.1.4

in Oracle SOA Suite (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered
Jdev 12.2.1.4 on my mac is not opening up from finder.  I was able to open it by running ./jdev from dir: Oracle/Middleware/Oracle_Home/jdeveloper/jdev/bin

But creating transformations and saving them are not successful. 

Can I reinstall JDev 12.2.1.4 by downloading:
V983382-01.zip and running :  java -jar jdev_suite_122140.jar

OR 
Do I have to reinstall complete Oracle SOA Suite?
