Oracle EE and PreInstallation Packages

I'm installing Oracle EE 19c on RHEL 7.7. As per the installation guides we ran the PreInstallation RPM. This seems to introduce a large numbers of packages into our OS. For example:
  • ksh and BIND are added
Our security team have flagged that most of these packages are out of date the minute they are installed. I'm struggling to see why things like BIND are required to run an Oracle DB ? Is there any way to install only the required packages?
