MRP - Planning/Freeze/ message display Fence Calculation

Hi,
Can you please explain how different fence days are calculated/considered while setup.
like - each fence day counting start from planning day 1, so which fence lie 1st and which one 2nd and 3rd on time series.
what all parameters should be taken in account while deciding different fence duration.

I gone through below KM but still need more clarity.
