E1 31 What is the impact of changing WO quantity ordered and re printing R31410

Hi Everyone

I want to ask: What could be the impact of changing the quantity ordered field UORG in the work order and then re launching the R31410 report to reprint that work order.

Customer is working on JDE 9.2 and they are about to change to an average cost valuation for manufactured items.

All manufactured and purchased items are lot controlled.

This is the scenario:
1. Currently they create monthly work orders for every manufactured item (this is due to the fact that they dont want to create many work orders that could be imppossible to manage).

2. Then, to release these work orders, they run the R31410 report to attach routing instructions and attach the bom, this process commits lot quantities to every work order.
