What are some steps/tips to mitigate large gaps when Standby DB is down for 2 days
Hello,
We have a Data Centre move project that plans to shutdown for about two days five of our physical Standby servers in order to physically move them to another location.
Our production/primary databases have activity during this time and this might create a large gap in redo. Anything that we can do to mitigate this issue? These 5 databases span different versions: 12c, 18c and 19c on Redhat 7 & 8.
We'd like to know what is Oracle recommendation or if anybody else went through a similar exercise and can give us some tips.
Many thanks!
