How to generate a BI Report in csv format

When selecting the BI report template, csv is not available. I can chose EXCEL but it generates XLS files, that have a max of around 65k rows, because it generates a xls - Excel 97 file, instead of a xlsx file (this would allo more that 1000 k rows). So:
1.- How can I generate a csv file ? (then I think I can generate a xlsx file from it) or
2.- How can a generate a BI Report with xlsx format? (optimal)
