Print Message from Stock Item Master to Print on PO

I have a Print Message in P40162 created, attached to a Stock Item Number, and have selected Purchase Order Print as a Document to print on. When I have the item entered on a Purchase Order, the Print Message still does not print. I am using JDE E1, Version 9.2.5.3
