How to call REST API from UBE

We have been able to call JDE APIs from external systems. How can JDE UBEs call external APIs (endpoints in the cloud)? Looking for more information/samples for B98ORCH and if other options available. Also, any performance related data. (UBE will process about 5,000 records daily).
