Huge pages and database buffer cache

Can someone explain this to me?

Hugepages are Not used by Database Buffer Cache (Doc ID 829850.1)

I always thought huge pages was what you set for the SGA. But the database buffer cache is part of the SGA. If that is the case. How do you size your SGA to use VLM and you buffer cache to have an adequate size?

Say i have 40G of memory on the box and only one database. 12.1 or 19c. My database is 2TB.

I want my pga to have about 6G.

If i give my database 30G and huge pages to use this amount, and set USE_INDIRECT_DATA_BUFFERS=TRUE
