ODA 19.12 server prepatchreport error OS kernel log level is set to debug

in Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) (MOSC) 6 commentsAnswered ✓

I am upgrading one of our ODA's from 19.10 to 19.12. The DCS agent/ DCS Admin and Components are upgraded.

I ran the prepatchreport -s -v 19.12.0.0.0 and get the following message, can I ignore it?

Validate kernel log level    Failed  OS kernel log level is set to debug,  

                     this may result in a failure when   

                     patching Clusterware If kernel OS log 

                     level is more than KERN_ERR(3) then  

                     GI patching may fail
