Creating a Text Substitution Message - parameters not appearing in Send Message Extended

hi,

I'm using the Send Message Extended system function and it is sending out emails ok.

I need to add a custom message that will be dependent on program data; so I've created a custom Error Msg (type 3) and associated it with a custom data structure which contains two parameters (both parameters were entered when data structure initially created). The custom data structure has been checked-in.

The issue is that when I enter the custom message in the Send Message Extended system function it does not display any of the parameters that were associated with the Msg.

I logged out/in on the Fat Client (in case the DD values were cached), parameters still do not appear when newly adding the custom dictionary item "LM57SDP1". Not sure why the custom data structure parameters in "D57SDP1" are not appearing. It looks like the custom DD Msg "LM57SDP1" association to "D57SDP1" is not being recognized, not sure why.

Howdy, Stranger!
