After Personalizing an LOV on the transactions workbench partial search does not return results

EBS version 12.2.10

AR, Transaction Workbench Form Personalization


We have a requirement to implement a modification to the LOV query on the bill to name field on the transactions workbench form - change the tax payer id to customer post code. After implementing the personalization partial search will not return any results when first opening the LOV find window.

E.g. search for %Malko% does not return any results but if one then searches for all (%) the results are returned after which we can refine back to %Malko% which then also returns results.

Can anyone explain why the first partial search did not return any results?
