Any experience with shrinking an Ebus instance for or after a divestiture?

Does anyone have experience with a product or company that can assist in shrinking an Ebusiness Suite database or creating a new instance with just the applicable data when divesting a business unit (or part of a business unit). As an example, currently, if a portion of the business is sold, the entire instance is cloned, and the nonrelated data is masked. We are looking for a way for the resulting instance to only contain the pertinent data, resulting in a much smaller instance to maintain and transfer to the purchasing company.
