DRCP - Planning to implement this, but concerned with the restrictions
Our environment is a two node RAC 19c - RHEL 7.3. Planning to implement DRCP. Have gone through most of the DRCP notes. Do have few questions on the restrictions below.
- Point 1 below, does it mean we cannot restart instances in a RAC say for patching?
- Point 7 - if sys user or schema owner performs DDL will it affect the application user. In our environment schema owner is different from the application user.
- Point 8 since we have explicit role users... can we set the minsize to 300 to avoid this issue, as we have about 300 sessions connecting always?
