Oracle connectivity through AD authentication?

Hi all,

Is it possible without OID to have a user connect to an Oracle database using AD authentication? If so, are there any pointers on how to do this or the setup to allow this?

Or even allow remote user access via external authentication (oracle user created with external authentication).
