No Network Interface/Connection post Oracle Linux 7.8 installation

OS installed: Oracle Linux 7.8 on a laptop

I am not using a virtual box.

Greetings,

I was able to install OL-7.8-x86-64 on my laptop. I think I may have missed to configure the network during the installation. Now I am not able to launch a web browser or download any updates. My aim is to install Oracle DB.

When I run the command: ifconfig I get the following:

lo: 127.0.0.1, netmask: 255.0......

virbr0: ether 46:75.....

I don't see any IP address. Please advise on how to proceed. Do I need reinstall the OS ?
