Can't open purchase order created in Workbench in forms window

When we create a purchase order in the buyer's workbench, we are then unable to open the purchase order in the forms windows. In the forms windows, we can the query the header level of the purchase order but are unable to view the lines, shipment, distribution information. How can we make inquiry to this information possible in the forms windows?
