EBS r12.1 Extended Support question

I've found several threads and links to articles re: the EBS r12.1 Extended Support ending July 2022. We are in the midst of a project going to Global OCloud for the US and Canada HCM by Jan. 2023.

Can anyone speak to a question I've been asked.

What exactly does this mean to us? We run Oracle Payroll for both US & Can. Does than mean we won't receive Statutory, Quarterly or End of Year patches?
