How to create a DFF that is in Date Format?

We have a new requirements from Purchasing to create a new DFF which named as 'Validity Date' I have create a field but it is in 'text-field' format. They wanted to have a 'Calendar' field which is the same with the 'promise date' in PO lines where you click the ... it will open up the calendar where they choose the dates. Is it possible in the DFF?
