JDE Multi-foundation (Blue Green deployment) with one Pathcode

We are planning to setup multi-foundation (Blue Green deployment) for our future Tools Release upgrade project, and in our Production system (Server) we have only one PRODJDE server which is running on AS400 with PD920 pathcode, we are planning for blue green deployment by creating two subsystem using multi foundation code (TR924 & TR926) and both subsystem will point to same PD920 pathcode, would like to understand is that possible in multi-foundation both subsystem point to have same pathcode and we can still upgrade one foundation code to new tools release (TR926) and deploy the new tools release full package
