Sub- Inventory Material account update for Instransit material

Hi All,

We are facing an issue where in we need to update Material Account for an sub Inventory :

STEP 1-- As a workaround we have created a dummy sub- inventory , transferred the On Hand available qty to Dummy Sub - Inventory and then changed the account .

BUT

For Instransit/Open Transaction .... How we can do this . Is there any method to achieve this or we need to freeze the transactions ad then perform the action mentioned in step 1.
