Alternative to UES jdeDirect drivers

HI all, I'm not sure if this is best posted here or in the Output and Design Technologies section, so please bear with me.

We currently run E1 9.2 (TR 9.2.3.3) on an IBMi and use Crystal Reports 2016 for generating reports for the business. Crystal connects to the E1 database on the IBMi using the UES (Unity) jdeDirect drivers and this brings back things like field and table descriptions, real dates instead of Julian dates, decimal points where needed and UDC table entry descriptions for UDC codes.

We are about to migrate E1 from the IBMi to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and the Oracle 19c database so need a replacement for jdeDirect. We can't go to the vendor as they are no longer in business. We could use the standard Oracle JDBC drivers to connect with, but this will mean losing the bonus functionality that we have with jdeDirect and every report will need major changes.
