Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Dear Experts,

SYSAUX tablespace is growing cause of huge SM/OPTSTAT.

Statistic retention period it set 31 day.

Actually my question is:

If I decrease statistics retention period to 15 days could it somehow impact on database performance?

Does CBO use old statistics in some cases?

It is DWH Database version is 19c.
